I love the look of cut glass and especially the old glass that is commonly known as carnival glass (well at least it's what my mother would have called it). I found this old lamp in an antique mall with no shade.
I also found a spot for it on the bar. Seemed fitting since my mother always loved the color red but would tell me that the color red was for 'loose women' so she wouldn't buy anything red (get it, red, bar, loose women).
I had another lamp on here but like this one better. Perfect spot for my fine.
Yes, a nice addition to my decor and a wonderful souvenir from my trip to Amish Country.
As long as you don't put a red light on the porch, I think you'll be fine!

PAPS, my son went there (red light district in Amsterdam) when he was in high school. I remember him telling me how great he found it. Yea, any 17 year old male would say that ;o)
