I've been on a self imposed hiatus from blogging thanks to school starting this past week. I was bad and put everything off until the last week of summer break. Hence I've spent my time kicking myself in the ass trying to get everything I wanted done completed before going back to work. Then working a full week has worn me out but life at Mama's bed, breakfast, lunch, dinner and free laundry has to go on. This morning I got up REALLY early for a Saturday (but the same time I get up on a work day) and started my errands. When I made it home, I found this on my kitchen table:
| Today's mail |
| a personal note and box |
It's a cute magnet that has found a home on my refrigerator!
I also remember her telling me she was going to be in the states and wanted to send me something from her country of Sri Lanka.
I may never get to go visit her country, but love that she remembered me when she came to mine!
Thanks PAPS! It was so thoughtful of you!
How sweet! It's nice to be remembered.
ReplyDeleteTrue Cora, true.

ReplyDeleteAh Sonya Ann, if only that was true ;o)
DeleteYour welcome. I got back on Sunday and thought of blogging again after more than 5 weeks of absence. It is a very small gift but glad you like it. I wonder whether you recognize the mask from the traditional dance posts from my previous posts. It is a miniature of it.
